Job Summary
Seeking a remote Cybersecurity Engineer, the full-time position will manage the design, implementation, and assessment of security requirements for classified and non-classified systems while ensuring adherence to cybersecurity best practices and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers on security requirements for classified and non-classified systems
- Develop and implement security control assessments and designs
- Oversee the execution of the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and coordinate remediation timelines for non-compliant security controls
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and NIST guidelines
- Experience in cybersecurity solution development and security vulnerability remediation
- Current Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
