Cybersecurity Engineer II

Job Summary

Leading engineering efforts for enterprise-wide security initiatives, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer II will design and implement secure solutions, manage technical evaluations, and oversee incident response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement new security solutions to address complex enterprise risks
• Lead technical evaluations and vendor assessments to select appropriate security technologies
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of cybersecurity experience and 1 year of cybersecurity engineering experience
• Experience with security solutions such as DLP, EDR, and SIEM
• Familiarity with IP, TCP/IP, and network administration protocols
• At least 1 cybersecurity certification, with a commitment to pursue additional certifications
