Cybersecurity Engineer II
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Engineer II with expertise in SIEM and EDR platforms to work remotely, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security monitoring and endpoint detection capabilities while collaborating with various teams to enhance threat detection and response.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the operational health of EDR and SIEM infrastructure and troubleshoot service disruptions
- Develop and fine-tune detection use cases, automation logic, and security use cases to improve alert fidelity
- Collaborate with external teams to onboard new data sources and configure reporting for key metrics
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of cybersecurity work experience
- 1+ years of experience with SIEM or EDR platforms such as Cortex XSIAM, Splunk, or CrowdStrike
- Good understanding of networking infrastructure concepts and protocols
- Ability to identify gaps in logging, monitoring, and endpoint protection
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
