Cybersecurity Engineer - Managing Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer - Managing Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on advanced cybersecurity initiatives across complex federal enterprise environments
• Configure, operate, maintain, and support cybersecurity tools and capabilities
• Develop and maintain documented System Security Plans and current Network Diagrams per DoD standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND SEVEN (7) years of relevant cybersecurity or IT security experience
• Active and current SECRET federal security clearance
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, RMF SP 800-53 Rev 5)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise security tools such as SIEM and vulnerability scanners
• Experience in incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis
