Cybersecurity Engineer SME

Job Summary

Providing expert support and analysis, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer SME will address complex cybersecurity challenges, recommend software tools, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions while working under consultative direction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program, offering direction and alternatives for complex problems
• Conduct CCRI, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on various IT frameworks and applications
• Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their progression into final products, ensuring compliance with DOD security regulations

Required qualifications

• Seven years of IT experience and five years of cybersecurity experience
• Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks and applications
• Command Cyber Readiness Inspection certification in relevant areas
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority in cybersecurity
• Possession of a DOD SECRET Clearance and eligibility for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
