Job Summary
To support the secure deployment of IronSled, a full-time Cybersecurity Engineer with Clearance will manage Risk Management Framework activities, maintain authorization artifacts, and collaborate with platform engineers to ensure compliance and security in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including system categorization and continuous monitoring
- Own and maintain authorization artifacts aligned to DHS requirements, such as System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
- Run vulnerability scans and drive remediation efforts through collaboration with the engineering team
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions in federal environments
- 5+ years of hands-on RMF experience, including ATO development and monitoring against NIST 800-53
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior-level cybersecurity certification
- Strong working knowledge of cloud security, particularly in AWS and high-compliance environments
