Cybersecurity Governance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Governance Manager, the full-time position will lead and coordinate cybersecurity, technology operations, compliance, and AI governance initiatives, working in a hybrid environment based in Capitola, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity and technology governance policies and procedures
• Conduct security audits and assessments to evaluate the organization's security posture and compliance status
• Manage relationships with external vendors and oversee technology-related employee onboarding and offboarding processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology management, or related roles
• Experience managing external vendors and developing governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or similar standards
