Cybersecurity Governance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Specialist - Cybersecurity Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Overhaul and rewrite IT security and compliance policies to address gaps and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop achievable policy language and facilitate workshops for consensus building
• Ensure policies are audit-ready and aligned with compliance requirements, while monitoring regulatory trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, IT risk, compliance, or governance, with at least 5 years in a senior role
• Experience in developing and maintaining IT/security policies in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with multiple compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
