Cybersecurity Incident Commander

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Incident Commander to manage complex cybersecurity threats and improve incident response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce cybersecurity and data protection efforts, providing guidance to incident response analysts
• Operationalize cybersecurity functions, manage key performance indicators, and drive communication with stakeholders
• Assume command during incidents, manage resources, and ensure effective communication and documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience as a security practitioner
• Technology experience with vulnerability management tools, SIEM, and advanced cybersecurity tools
• Certification as a CISSP, CISA, and/or CFE, or GIAC certification(s) is desired
• Advanced understanding of Cyber Security, Data Protection, and SOC operations
