Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead to manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive containment and eradication of threats during cybersecurity events and support post-event remediation efforts
• Collect and analyze evidence from cyber events to build a comprehensive chain of events
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate cybersecurity issues and develop training exercises

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, with 3+ years in Incident Response roles
• Experience with security tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management platforms
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, or CySA+
• Knowledge of audit frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS)
