Cybersecurity Lab Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of integrated cybersecurity solutions, the full-time Cybersecurity Lab Engineer will build and document partner products, ensure compliance with federal standards, and utilize AI tools to enhance workflows, primarily working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration in McLean, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Design and integrate solutions from partner products, ensuring they meet federal compliance requirements
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to optimize coding and documentation processes
- Collaborate with partner engineers and maintain released solutions through ongoing support and updates
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or systems integration
- Proficient in AI coding assistants for optimizing development tasks
- Knowledge of US federal compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP
- Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python and PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR platforms, and cloud environments like AWS or Azure
