Cybersecurity Operations Director

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic cybersecurity team, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Operations Director will manage security operations and incident response, oversee security engineering, and drive threat intelligence and vulnerability management initiatives while partnering closely with the CISO.

Key responsibilities

• Own the MDR relationship, including SLA management and incident response coordination
• Oversee detection engineering and ensure the security tooling stack is optimized for current threats
• Lead the operationalization of threat intelligence and manage the vulnerability management lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 7 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience maturing an MDR deployment in a corporate environment
• Hands-on expertise in security engineering, incident response, or cloud security
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171 and ISO 27001
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field required
