Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity measures for a mission-critical SaaS product, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Operations Engineer will operate and monitor security controls, manage incident response, and support vulnerability management within a FedRAMP and CJIS-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day security operations and engineering for the designated SaaS product and AWS environment
• Monitor security alerts, triage events, and manage incident response activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement protective controls and improve operational readiness and data protection initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management in AWS environments
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and CJIS security requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications in cloud security or incident response are preferred
