Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity operations in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Manager, Cybersecurity and Operations will oversee security engineering, incident response, and operational security investments while managing a team of security professionals and collaborating with cross-functional departments to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the cybersecurity operations and security engineering function across various environments, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
• Manage and develop security engineers and analysts responsible for operational security controls and incident response activities
• Coordinate response efforts during significant cybersecurity incidents, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective incident management

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or incident response
• 3+ years of experience leading cybersecurity teams or security operations programs
• Strong knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability management
• Experience securing cloud, hybrid, and corporate environments across major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Demonstrated ability to deliver security initiatives that achieve measurable risk reduction
