Cybersecurity Principal Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Cybersecurity Principal Engineer, the successful candidate will build and operate enterprise identity governance, authentication, and authorization services, collaborating with senior stakeholders to create scalable identity architecture and controls.
Key responsibilities
- Build, configure, and operate enterprise IGA platforms, including SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Entra ID Governance
- Engineer identity lifecycle workflows for automated provisioning and deprovisioning, and implement access certification and RBAC models
- Troubleshoot IGA issues and maintain compliance documentation for SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience engineering and operating IGA or IAM environments
- Experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Entra ID Governance, as well as Active Directory
- Working knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM
