Cybersecurity Product Researcher

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams, the full-time Security Product Researcher will investigate, design, and develop solutions for complex network security challenges while utilizing AI technologies to enhance Corelight's cybersecurity offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rapid prototyping initiatives by coding and scripting solutions using tools like Zeek, Suricata, and AI/LLMs
• Manage projects from concept to customer deployment, iterating quickly and effectively on solutions
• Partner with product, research, and engineering leaders to drive the development of innovative network security AI products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in agile development within a full-stack environment, particularly with LLM and agentic AI ecosystems
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, focusing on network detection and response
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
• Knowledge of computer networking, including the OSI model and network security concepts
• Experience with security operations, threat hunting, and incident response procedures
