Cybersecurity Research Intern

Job Summary

Supporting national security initiatives, the part-time Cybersecurity Research Intern will engage in applied research projects, collaborate with university faculty and industry professionals, and analyze technical information in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in individual or team-based applied research projects supporting Department of Defense and Navy initiatives
• Conduct research related to cybersecurity, engineering, information technology, and networking
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to support research objectives and present findings to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Charleston Southern undergraduate or graduate program
• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
