Cybersecurity Researcher

Job Summary

Joining a global Threat Research Unit, the full-time Cybersecurity Researcher will analyze cyber threats, develop detection capabilities for security products, and contribute to research initiatives while working remotely from various locations including Spain, Poland, and Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of detection capabilities for Acronis Security and EDR products
• Analyze clean and malicious content, including executables and scripts, to develop threat detection logic
• Conduct online research on the latest cyber threats and ensure detection by existing technologies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in malware analysis using static, dynamic, and behavioral methods
• 3+ years of experience with proactive Threat Hunting using EDR/XDR solutions
• Extensive experience with threat intelligence tools and services, including VirusTotal and MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Software development experience in Python, REST APIs, and SQL; C/C++ is a plus
• Good reading and writing skills in English
