Job Summary
Cybersecurity RMF Analyst is a full-time position requiring expertise in cybersecurity to support the USDA Risk Management Framework processes in alignment with NIST SP 800 53, including the development of security documentation and compliance assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
- Assess IT systems for compliance with defined information security requirements and conduct Security Controls Assessments
- Develop training materials and documentation to support RMF implementation across the USDA enterprise
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or RMF processes
- Knowledge of RMF workflow tools, such as CSAM
- Strong understanding of NIST, FISMA, and applicable federal cybersecurity policies and standards
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance
