Job Summary
As a Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization SME - Remote, the expert will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for information systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization process, including authorizing information systems and assessing security controls
- Brief senior management on the progress and results of information systems undergoing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- Evaluate vulnerabilities and their impact on system authorization within a large organization's IT infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Five years of relevant experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, and A&A
- Five years of experience in DOW cybersecurity processes
- CNDSP-Analyst or CSSP-Analyst certification
- Secret clearance and DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
- Knowledge in cybersecurity for emerging technologies such as Cloud and Industrial Control Systems (ICSs)
