Job Summary
To support the US Army's cybersecurity efforts, a skilled Cybersecurity SME with Clearance will work remotely on a contract basis, overseeing the implementation of protective technologies and processes while maximizing existing tools for incident response and situational awareness.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of technologies and processes to protect applications, networks, and data from cyber threats
- Maximize existing tools to synthesize data into actionable intelligence for incident response
- Identify and assess new technologies to enhance cybersecurity defenses and provide expert insights on industry trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, including 5 years with the Department of Defense or federal agencies
- In-depth understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks and familiarity with NIST, FIPS, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards
- Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship required
- Must possess or obtain relevant cybersecurity certifications within 6 months of hire
