Cybersecurity SOC Analyst

Job Summary

To support a client-focused Security Operations function, the full-time Tier 1 SOC Analyst will actively monitor and investigate security alerts, perform analysis on incoming threats, and communicate effectively with clients in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate security alerts to detect malicious activity in a 24x7x365 SOC
• Perform Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK analysis on incoming security alerts
• Provide clear written investigations and collaborate with clients throughout escalated security investigations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of Security Operations or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with network and endpoint security principles, current threats, and attack trends
• One or more cybersecurity certifications
• Experience with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) platforms and Endpoint Protection platforms
