Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Software Engineer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Transforming a proof-of-concept solution in Python into a mature application for validating security control effectiveness
- Measuring application security and security control coverage using enterprise IT and information security knowledge
- Supporting additional software development and reporting initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience, Master's Degree with 6 years experience, or PhD with 2 years experience in software engineering and information security
- Experience in software development and security engineering
- Demonstrated understanding of information security principles including application security and vulnerability management
- Advanced Python programming skills
- Experience designing metrics and reports for communicating technical security insights to senior leadership
