Cybersecurity Staff Engineer

Job Summary

Leading Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance efforts, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Staff Engineer will manage oversight of risk, compliance, and issue closure across cybersecurity practices, ensuring a cohesive organizational risk picture and accountability across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Aggregate risk posture and control gaps into dashboards and executive reporting frameworks
• Own end-to-end issue lifecycle management, ensuring timely remediation and accountability across teams
• Lead ISO 27001 certification maintenance and contribute to SOC 2 Type II compliance efforts

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity GRC, Risk Management, or Compliance
• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001 certification programs and SOC 2 Type II compliance
• Familiarity with GRC platforms such as Drata, ServiceNow, or OneTrust
• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification preferred
• Experience in high-profile consumer-facing industries like sports or entertainment is a plus
