Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert, the successful candidate will manage, implement, and document cybersecurity solutions for clients while working remotely, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and collaborating with various teams to enhance security practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively plan and set policies to analyze vulnerabilities and devise creative solutions for protecting systems and data
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, guiding them through network security, encryption methods, and incident response
• Oversee the deployment and configuration of tailored security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Cybersecurity, Information Technology, etc.)
• 10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity
• Industry certifications such as ITILv4, Security+, Network+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions, including firewalls and SIEM
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and industry regulations
