Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Technical Writer for a full-time remote position, the candidate will develop and maintain clear cybersecurity and IT documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and research to gather information on cybersecurity topics
- Write, review, edit, and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and user guides
- Design and develop training materials and conduct training on security governance processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, technical communication, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity technical writing or IT documentation
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001
- Experience managing document review, approval, and publishing workflows
- Familiarity with GRC and documentation platforms like ServiceNow or Confluence
