Job Summary
Leading the enterprise cybersecurity program, the full-time remote Vice President of Cybersecurity will develop strategies, oversee risk management, and ensure compliance while reporting directly to the COO.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and governance structure
- Oversee information security risk management and establish an assessment and assurance program
- Lead security-related regulatory and board reporting, including updates on cybersecurity posture and incidents
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10 or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including senior leadership in financial services or a regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience with security strategy, governance, incident response, and regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge of financial services control expectations and frameworks like FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST
- Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
