Cybersecurity Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise cybersecurity program, the full-time remote Vice President of Cybersecurity will develop strategies, oversee risk management, and ensure compliance while reporting directly to the COO.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and governance structure
• Oversee information security risk management and establish an assessment and assurance program
• Lead security-related regulatory and board reporting, including updates on cybersecurity posture and incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10 or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including senior leadership in financial services or a regulated industry
• Demonstrated experience with security strategy, governance, incident response, and regulatory reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial services control expectations and frameworks like FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST
• Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
