Job Summary
To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst will conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments, manage vulnerability scanning programs, and collaborate with technology teams to remediate vulnerabilities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance vulnerability scanning strategies for comprehensive coverage across the enterprise environment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and validate scan results while prioritizing vulnerabilities based on severity and business risk
- Communicate risk exposure and remediation efforts to senior leadership, providing regular updates and recommendations
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of Information Security experience, with at least three years focused on vulnerability management
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, or CompTIA Security+ preferred
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability management processes
- Experience with vulnerability management platforms like Nessus or Qualys
