Cytogenetics Analyst ASCP Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a remote Cytogenetic Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform FISH analysis and cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads using computerized images
• Review test requisitions and summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and report accurate test results to ensure quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)
• 1 year of experience in FISH and Chromosomes for Oncology Cytogenetics
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
