Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist with Cytogenetics Technologist Certification Required, this full-time remote position will perform complex technical procedures, determine specimen acceptability, and troubleshoot instrumentation while working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM ET.
Key responsibilities
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
- Certified by the National Credentialing Agency in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) or equivalent certification
- Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
