Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cytogenetics Technologist - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens
• Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature and distinguish between normal and abnormal results
• Comply with company policies and procedures while performing troubleshooting and documenting corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

• B.A./B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Cytogenetics Technology, or related life science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cytogenetics clinical laboratory
• Previous experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images required
• Oncology cytogenetics experience preferred
• ASCP certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG) highly preferred
