Czech Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an English to Czech - Judiciary/Legal - Translator, Editor, and/or Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files from English to Czech
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions, ensuring adherence to legal terminology and style guides
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation, translating, and/or editing between English and Czech
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription using relevant software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAT tools, such as Trados
