Job Summary

Guiding a student-athlete through their academic and athletic development, the part-time D1 Soccer Mentor will provide one-on-one support via video, focusing on academic guidance and sports mentorship while leveraging their Division I soccer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Guide one student through their academic day, keeping them focused and on task during learning hours
• Mentor the student as an athlete by discussing training habits, competition mindset, and balancing academics with sports
• Communicate with parents and staff, providing updates on the student's academic performance and athletic development

Required qualifications

• Division I soccer background with competitive experience
• Experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles
• Ability to earn trust and provide direct feedback to young athletes
• Strong communication skills for one-on-one video sessions and written updates
• Reliable and organized with a suitable remote setup for video sessions
