D1 Softball Mentor

Job Summary

Working remotely, the D1 Softball Mentor will provide one-on-one academic guidance and sports mentorship to student-athletes, leveraging Division I softball experience to enhance their training and competition mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students through their academic day via video, maintaining focus and pace in their learning
• Mentor athletes on the mental game, training habits, and balancing academics with sports commitments
• Communicate regularly with parents and staff, providing updates on student progress in both academics and athletics

Required qualifications

• Division I softball background with competitive experience
• Real experience working with kids in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
• Ability to build trust and provide constructive feedback to young athletes
• Strong communication skills for effective one-on-one video sessions
• Reliable and organized, with a suitable remote work setup
