DABT Certified Toxicologist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried DABT Certified Toxicologist will evaluate biocompatibility data, prepare risk assessments, and provide technical support to clients and lab staff in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare risk assessments, evaluation plans, and reports in compliance with relevant ISO standards for regulatory submissions
• Evaluate and summarize biocompatibility and general toxicology data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Advise clients on technical issues related to biocompatibility and material characterization while developing proposals for Biological Safety projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's/Doctorate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• DABT Certification required
• Knowledge of FDA and EU medical device regulations, including ISO 10993 series and ISO 14971
• Experience in writing and reviewing complex documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
