To oversee a regional team, the full-time salaried Damage Prevention Manager will manage utility locating operations, develop and train technicians, and ensure compliance with state laws while based in the Miami, FL metro area.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Damage Prevention Technicians
- Manage locating operations to ensure accurate and timely completion according to state regulations
- Communicate with clients and contractors to resolve issues and prevent outages related to cable plant damages
Required qualifications
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the Miami, FL metro area
- Minimum of five years of experience in utility locating and field construction tasks
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
- Telecom training and OSHA or other safety certifications required
