Job Summary

Seeking expert Danish Audio Transcribers for a remote, part-time opportunity to convert audio recordings of native speakers into precise written transcripts, focusing on linguistic accuracy and adherence to project-specific style guides.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text while following project-specific style guidelines
• Make principled decisions regarding speaker identification, disfluencies, and non-speech events to enhance transcript quality
• Engage in self-review and collaborate with QA reviewers on ambiguous segments and style guide updates

Required qualifications

• Native fluency in Danish with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Denmark
• At least two years of professional experience in transcription, captioning, or related fields
• Strong understanding of Danish phonological features and mastery of standard Danish orthography
• Ability to distinguish major Danish regional accents
• Comfortable with web-based annotation platforms and variable-speed audio playback
