Data & AI Governance Director

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and visionary Data & AI Governance Director, this full-time remote position will manage the establishment and enforcement of an enterprise-wide governance framework for data, analytics, and AI practices, ensuring ethical, compliant, and high-quality use of these assets across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and operationalize a comprehensive Data and AI Governance framework aligned with global business strategy
• Lead the Responsible AI program, creating policies for AI/ML model lifecycle, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations
• Build and scale Data Stewardship and AI Governance bodies, driving a cultural shift towards data ownership and responsible AI usage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Technology
• 10+ years leading data governance frameworks in a large-scale enterprise environment
• 8+ years managing global teams and complex cross-functional programs
• 5+ years of experience with current global data and AI regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act)
