Data & AI Governance Lead

Job Summary

Leading the AI governance program, the full-time salaried Data & AI Governance Lead will manage end-to-end use-case intake, risk assessment, and the establishment of data governance standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate the AI governance program, including use-case intake, risk triage, and governance council sessions
• Author and evolve AI governance standards and frameworks to align with regulatory changes and best practices
• Measure adherence to data governance standards and partner with operational teams to ensure compliance and quality of data used in AI systems

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), with at least 2 years in AI/ML governance
• Experience with AI and data governance frameworks, including risk management and oversight of data flows
• Proven ability to build and operate AI use-case intake and risk-scoring processes
• Strong analytical and writing skills for developing governance standards and executive reporting
• Familiarity with healthcare data regulations, including HIPAA and PHI handling
