Data & AI Technical Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Data & AI Technical Lead who will co-own technical architecture and system design, lead the development of data and AI flows, and drive technical initiatives from design through production while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Co-own technical architecture and system design with the Principal Data Engineer, covering data pipelines and AI flows
• Lead the design and implementation of data ingestion, transformation, and consumption processes across systems
• Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards, ensuring high-quality code and documentation practices

Required qualifications

• Strong Python engineering background with experience in data pipelines and AI integrations
• Proven data architecture experience, including schema design and pipeline architecture
• Solid understanding of AI systems design, particularly with LLMs and multi-agent systems
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or equivalent for backend and API development
• Experience in designing and operating event-driven architectures in production
