Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Analyst to extract, process, and analyze large datasets in a remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and process large data files from multiple sources for a data warehouse environment
• Cleansing, validating, and preparing datasets for accuracy and readiness for data loading
• Perform full SDLC activities, including project planning, requirements analysis, and implementation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a mainframe environment (COBOL, VSAM, JCL, TSO)
• 5+ years of experience with front-end data warehouse processing, including data extraction and cleansing
• 5+ years as an analyst programmer with hands-on experience in SDLC functions
• 5+ years of experience using statistical reporting tools such as SAS for large-volume data
• Experience with healthcare claims data and knowledge of HIPAA data standards
