Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Analyst who is naturally curious about data and enjoys making complex datasets more usable and valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers
• Ingest, validate, and document data from new sources to ensure quality and usability
• Provide technical guidance and respond to data inquiries from federal researchers and healthcare analysts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, public health, or a related field
• 2+ years of work experience, preferably in the healthcare or government data sector
• Strong skills in SQL and experience with large, complex datasets
• Working knowledge of SAS, R, Stata, Python, or SQL for data manipulation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
