Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a nonprofit organization in the education technologies sector, the remote Data Analyst will focus on developing and maintaining dashboards, generating reports, and presenting data insights over a 6-month contract-to-hire term.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in academic programs and student services
• Utilize AWS services such as S3, Amazon QuickSight, and Athena to analyze and visualize data, creating meaningful dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide expertise in data analysis and ensure compliance with enterprise security and access controls

Required qualifications:

• 5-7 years of previous Data Analyst experience
• Proven experience in SQL and Python programming languages for querying and data transformation
• Experience in data analytics and reporting
• Familiarity with AWS services including S3, Amazon QuickSight, and Athena
• Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, data science, or a related field
