Data Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Analyst / Test Validation Analyst will validate, reconcile, and analyze complex financial and index-related data across multiple systems while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed data validation and reconciliation across development, pre-production, and production environments
• Utilize advanced Excel functionality to analyze large datasets and create internal reports supporting operational and analytical needs
• Support system upgrades and data migrations by developing and executing test cases and validation scenarios

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and large dataset analysis
• Experience working with financial, investment, portfolio, benchmark, or index-related data
• Proven ability to manage and deliver work across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong understanding of data validation, quality assurance, and testing methodologies
