Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Measures and Metrics team remotely, the full-time Data Analyst will develop, update, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards while ensuring data accuracy and quality for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting outputs
• Analyze data sources and validate data accuracy through routine quality checks and documentation of processes
• Collaborate with team members to gather user requirements and assist in the deployment of reporting solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
• 3-5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including report development and data visualization techniques
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation
• Familiarity with SQL and data management concepts
