Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support sustainable donor growth, the temporary Data Analyst will focus on enhancing Salesforce reporting, donor acquisition tracking, and fundraising analytics while collaborating with development and product teams, with the position being full-time and open to remote candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen Salesforce reporting capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Build and standardize reporting that supports donor acquisition, retention, and progression
• Develop consistent attribution methodologies for donor acquisition and first-gift tracking

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building reports and dashboards in Salesforce
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems, preferably in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations
• Strong understanding of donor acquisition, retention, and life cycle reporting
• Proficient in SQL; experience with Python, R, or data visualization tools is a plus
• Ability to translate complex business questions into clear reporting structures and actionable insights
