Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing Data Science team, the remote Data Analyst will conduct quantitative analyses, create data visualizations, and manage financial analytics projects while ensuring compliance with SOX controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and statistical analyses of complex financial and operational data to identify trends and generate actionable insights
• Develop and maintain automated reporting and data visualizations using SQL and Python to communicate financial trends effectively
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytical requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions and recommendations

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role with a strong finance focus
• BA/BS in a quantitative field such as statistics, applied mathematics, economics, or computer science; an MBA is advantageous
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of dbt is a plus
• Experience working in a public company and familiarity with SOX compliance processes
• Experience with data visualization software like Looker or Tableau
