Job Summary
Working remotely from anywhere in the United States, the contract Data Analyst will analyze and optimize large datasets, develop advanced SQL queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable business intelligence for the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize large, complex datasets to deliver actionable business intelligence
- Develop and tune advanced SQL queries, including window functions, CTEs, and complex joins
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies through detailed debugging and root cause analysis
Required qualifications
- Expert-level SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning
- Strong experience with Databricks and large-scale cloud data platforms
- Expertise in data warehousing and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Experience in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors
- Outstanding analytical thinking and communication skills
