Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support data assessment and governance initiatives, the full-time contract Data Analyst will conduct metadata inventories, analyze data flows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inventories of metadata and source data across in-scope databases
- Analyze and document source systems, data flows, and transformation processes
- Identify data quality concerns and assist in developing enterprise data dictionaries
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL, AWS, and Databricks
- Experience with data governance and stewardship
- Hands-on experience in data profiling and quality assessment
- Familiarity with source-to-target mapping and data reconciliation
- Experience in actuarial, valuation, insurance, or financial reporting domains is desirable
