Data Analyst (Arabic)
Job Summary
Supporting global data initiatives, the full-time Data Analyst (Arabic) will analyze and improve multilingual data quality, collaborating with Linguistics and Engineering teams while working remotely as an independent contractor for up to 8 months.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and enhance the data quality of multilingual text classifiers
- Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers for various Arabic dialects
- Translate taxonomies related to Skills, Titles, and Occupations
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and writing Arabic, with an understanding of Arabic syntax
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related field preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and data cleanup
- Knowledge of query languages such as SQL and advanced regular expressions (RegEx)
- Familiarity with text analysis or machine learning principles is preferred
